May 19th Author Talk at the Cushing Public Library: Maine’s Maritime History Inspires Fiction

CUSHING — The rich tradition of maritime Bath, and men and women within that history, are the subjects of an award-winning novel by Irene Drago, who will discuss her book, “Daughters of Long Reach,” and her own affection for this town, at the Cushing Public Library, 39 Cross Rd., on Sunday, May 19, at 2 p.m. The program is free. The author is the recipient of the 2017 Spirit of Bath Award and the 2018 Next Generation Indie Book Award. She is currently writing the sequel that includes a connection to St. George and Port Clyde.
